Garment recovery

A worn-looking return is not necessarily an unsellable one. Steaming, de-linting and repacking turn a large share of returns back into stock you can sell at full price.

What it produces

Garment recovery, as you see it.

Steamed, sanitised and de-linted at the recovery bench, with the condition recorded before and after — so a recovery is a documented change of state rather than an assertion.

How it runs

Three steps, in order.

  1. Assessed firstRecovery is only worth doing where it will actually produce a saleable item. Judging that correctly is most of the value.
  2. TreatedSteamed, de-linted, odour-checked and pressed as the garment needs. Minor presentation issues dealt with; genuine faults are not disguised.
  3. Repacked and rebaggedFresh polybag, tags reinstated where they survived, re-barcoded if needed, back to its bin as available stock.
What that includes

What that includes.

  • Steaming, de-linting and pressing
  • Fresh packaging and re-bagging
  • Re-barcoding where the tag has gone
  • Condition recorded before and after on camera
  • Recovery outcomes reported so you can see what it is worth
  • Hanging and folded garments both handled
What we need from you
  • Your standard for what can go back out as new
  • Replacement polybags and tags, or we will source them
  • A route for anything that cannot be recovered
What you get back
  • Steaming, de-linting and pressing
  • Fresh packaging and re-bagging
  • Re-barcoding where the tag has gone
  • Recovery outcomes reported so you can see what it is worth
The honest bit

Recovery has a ceiling. Make-up marks, deodorant, pet hair and smoke do not always come out, and a garment that has clearly been worn to an event is not going back out as new. We would rather grade it out than have it returned again by the next customer.
